History
ROBUST KOMPONENTER AB has its origin in
Seffle Metallverk, which was founded during the
1940’s. Over the years the company has had several
changes in ownership, including Electrolux/Constructor
and Aaker Kvaerner.
The need for a skilled manufacturer was a strong
contributing factor when ROBUST AB decided to
acquire the unit in 2001. The Robust Group needed
production resources for its own products, especially
its steel doors. In-house production was an excellent
combination with sales of subcontracted services to
external customers.
Over the years the operation has developed and
expanded into an ultramodern component industry.
